Beyond

Beyond is set in space and we took 'Asteroids' as our starting idea, then expanded on it with space mining, enemies, upgrades and a boss fight.

Enemy Mechanics

I was mainly in charge of the enemy design. Which included deciding their appearance, coding their behavior and how they would interact with the player.

Boss fight

I was also in charge of the Boss. I worked on the attacks, health bar, how the fight would progress, and the balancing.
